edition wooden sneakers,for sports company 'k-swiss'. the design was created by computer, however each
of the models were hand sculpted from wood and are numbered.

REX architects recently updated their site with images of their proposal for the kunsthaus zürich.
the design would have seen galleries sorted into an array of three distinct typologies—universal,
classical, and lyric—and by daylight requirements, locating rooms that demand the most daylight
on the higher floors.

Constructed of a soft, flesh-like gel, the remote appears cold when off. Once turned on, however, it seems to come to life. A soft light emanates somewhere from within as the center of the device begins to slowly rise and fall, mimicking the tranquil motions of breath. Left undisturbed, the remote will slumber peacefully. Buth should a human hand approach, sensors inside alert it to the imminent touch. It stops breathing, grows rigid – the light from within is extinguished. A remote is the ideal meaphor for the disturbance electronic distration poses to life. If we had to interrupt its life before it could interrupt ours, we may think twice before picking it up.

Excellent for kids and grown-ups who are just big kids, it's made from balsa wood and the pieces easily pop out to form your very own loop-de-loop, flying glider. It's much more fun than ordinary mail and once you write a little message on it, it becomes post with a bit more love and personality. Don't forget to send it by ‘air mail' though, get it? Air? Because it's a plane and it flies through the air!

nadine byrne is a swedish artist who works in a variety of mediums including, video, sound, drawing and
sculpture. her sculpture work primarily consists of wearable textiles and costumes. these pieces range
from simple props, such as her ‘balloon noose’ to more elaborate works like ‘the shaman suit’. these works
all use the human body as their frame, relying in part on a participant to complete the work. the more
elaborate works rely on elements of history and mysticism.

Architect Joshua Prince-Ramus of Ramus-Ella Architects (REX) created the holiday attraction of the Calvin Klein store on 5th Avenue in New York. It is a miniature four-storey dwelling complete with a landscaped rooftop.
