The building, which has been designed by a team of 13 architects, have been planned to environmentally friendly specifications.
- Roof solar panels act as a source of clean, renewable power to homes
- Rain water harvesting system to catch rainwater from the roof to provide water for toilet flushing and garden
- Back-up emergency generator to provide power during storms or other crises
- Elevated on concrete houses on stilts to provide protection from flooding.
